Spy-cier Chuck

OK, I know, it should be books here but hey, it wouldn't hurt to share what I love to watch as well would it? Since season 1 I have been an avid fan of Chuck and I just finished watching season 2 and I can't wait for the next season. I am one of those people who posted to walls, commented on youtube and twitted for it to get another season. I like it's comedy approach of the spy series. It is not the conventional Bond, spy movies, not that I didn't enjoy the MI6 episode in season 2. Kudos to the creator, thinking of the characters, how they will blend to each other and even the supporting characters contribute to the whole series and to our main protagonists. Moreover I love the story for season 3 that Chuck is no longer the loser we know and that he gets more action this time. Loved it. I know it's in January for US premiere and I'll be waiting patiently here in the Philippines. More episodes for Chuck please... a little preview to all chuck fans. Click h

My not so dead series

I started reading the series through a co-worker who can't seem to put the book down because of her common traits with the heroine. They both love shoes, and because she sensed that I love books and i love a good laugh she recommended me the Undead series by Mary Janice Davidso n and next thing I know I am collecting the books myself. This is my first Vampire series book. Since I knew that my guilty pleasure is reading books and could not resist exiting a bookstore without a book on hand I made a book list which keeps getting longer, so one of things listed there are books number 7 and 8 of the Undead series. I recently bought book # 7 Undead and Unworthy which has a new cover (if you are reading the US cover)and I'm really glad MJ Davidson wrote a disclaimer to its readers. I noticed that the book became more adult, more cursing from the characters and more gory than the previous books. Another more are names of designer shoes who are very much in season (very good update for

See No Sunlight book

I saw the book as part of a bookstore billboard in a mall near my office and it says Team Vampire (then the cover of New Moon) vs Team Angel ( and the breathtaking cover of Hush, Hush). Aren't we all intrigued by this book's cover. Clearly the saying "Don't judge this book by its cover" does not apply to this one because when you see its cover it will make you grab the copy and buy the book. I bought the book at around 8pm of Saturday night and devoured the book until 4 in the morning of Sunday, it wasn't my intention not to let him see sunrise, I just could not put it down. Amidst all the vampire craze (not that I'm not a fan) I was secretly looking for something new but have similar concept, young adult's novel, mythical character, mysterious kind of guy, which I gladly found in the book. It was nice to know a little something about angels, their rank and their somewhat political views as well. I like the twist of the story and how they are connected

How Christmas is to me

Everyone who knows would easily answer that my favorite season is Christmas. And if you're here in the Philippines Christmas season starts in October ends at first Sunday of January marking the Three Kings. Within these time, malls and other establishments play famous Christmas carols while people are starting their Christmas shopping. For me, every year designing our Christmas tree and decorating our house is a challenge, a challenge I gladly do and looks forward every year. I started with Red and gold Christmas balls, then my orange and gold balls with orange poinsettia on the garland adoring our stairs baluster. This year we opted for home made Christmas balls made of of styro balls, black tule cloth, black and silver sequins. Very timely because of the economy we recycled some of our old decors and still made our house filled with the spirit of Christmas. But of course it's not just the decors why I love the season. Once the season is in the air, it seems everybody is happy

My Booklist 2
