The News that shocked me

Yesterday while walking in Galleria where Ate Jan and I pass by news stand I saw this picture in the newspaper that a ferry sank but I don't know where. I could still remember what I told Ate Jan.
"May lumubog na naman?" Ate Jan replied yes and that someone from her Plurk buddies' friend died because they were one family who rode the ferry. I even said to her that Family should not be boarding same plane or boat because they say you're prone to accidents.
Little did I know that somebody who was once made my day happy and chismax filled is there as well. It came as a shock knowing the news on my friend's twitter.
Though it has been a short time knowing Nina, it was a fun filled shared months with her and her best friend Joie.
We'll be praying for you Nina.

The Reading Challenge

At the start of the year there were two reading challenges I committed myself to The Goodreads Reading Challenge where you will decide how many books you can read for the year. The other one I got from my cousin but upon searching in Google it's a Popsugar Reading Challenge.  I must have underestimated my annual calendar because I challenged my self to red 50 books in Goodreads. How To Be Interesting So That Other Can Envy and Notice You

My whole 32 years of existence, ok, minus the toddler years where I don’t really care; I want to be wanted, desirable, likable and according to Google, to achieve this you must be interesting and as part of my research that’s why  I came across this book. I hunted for this book in the hope that I can get tips so I can be interesting. In the cover it says:   Rule # 1. One must be attractive .  – If you are such a good friend or sister you will tell your mates that its personality that wins. I agree, but for the others to notice you, you must be attractive or else they will not make that second look or  make an effort to get to know you thus you are not given the chance to showcase your great personality. Here's the latest game I'm playing, for my age you might think this is one of those, network games that usually boys go crazy about in the net cafe, but no, its one of my facebook application and from what I heard, is the latest craze in the cyberworld. Pet Society, is a simulation game that expresses yourself through the pet you created. You can visit friends, give them gift, buy clothes. design your house even take a bath and mingle in the cafe. Just add it in your facebook application create your pet and if you have lots of friends who have pet society as well, you'll surely enjoy this game.
